Storm Leaves Over 500 Greenwich Residents Without Power

A powerful storm knocked out power to thousands across the state; Metro-North's New Haven line experiencing wire issues in Darien, Norwalk and Westport.

 

A powerful storm that moved through the state last night has left thousands across Connecticut without power Thursday morning.

According to the Connecticut Light & Power outage map, currently 538 customers in Greenwich are without power as of 9:33 a.m. That's about 1 percent of their 27,917 users.

Metro-North is also directing New Haven Line customers traveling eastbound to Noroton Heights, Darien, Rowayton, East Norwalk, Westport and Greens Farms that they must take a train to Southport then get a westbound train to get access to these stations due to wire issues in the area.
