They Had a Ball Raising Money for the Red Cross

More than 400 attended the annual Red and White Ball.

More than 400 supporters of the Metro New York North chapter of the American Red Cross attended Saturday's festive annual Red and White Ball held at the Net Jets hangar at Westchester County Airport.

The event was chaired by Lia DeNey and Colleen Hempleman. Guests included Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei and his wife Jill; state Rep. Lile Gibbons and her husband John; and Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino.

The hangar of Net Jets was transformed into a lush floral respite with stunning table top designs were created by a veritable Who's Who of designers from the region including Victoria Hagen, Olga Adler Interiors, Carmina Roth Interiors, Christopher Robert Matson, Hoagland's of Greenwich, Katherine Cowdin Inc., and Sandra Oster Interiors.

Patrons participated in lively bidding during the auction—conducted by Paul Schultz of the Stokes Auction Group—which included trips to the Kentucky Derby, Patagonia and Key Largo.
