Town Sponsors Heart Disease Education Classes

The Greenwich Health Department's 4-week program begins April 9.

 

The Greenwich Health Department is sponsoring a heart disease education program that is designed to teach residents about the risk factors of the disease.

The four-week program will be led by Mary Ryan and will cover risk factors, the value of exercise, medications and how they work, and how to modify life styles to reduce cholesterol. The program begins April 9 and will continue April 16, 23 and 30.

The classes will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hayton Conference Room on the third floor of Greenwich Town Hall.

Free cholesterol testing will be offered at the first class.
