Camillo Supports Election of Peldunas to Board of Ed

To the editor:

I am writing in support of Brian Peldunas and his candidacy for the Board of Education ( BOE ). Brian's business background will , when combined with his civic work in Education, bring a well-rounded and prepared person to the board. His 25 year  history as Managing Director at Credit Suisse as well as being a  small business owner will instantly benefit the board, the students, and the taxpayer as financial issues and budgets can't be separated from the endeavor of offering the best quality education for our kids. Indeed, these are all components of the job of a BOE member. It is, for sure, not an easy job. The demand for funds from the public are constant, and separating emotions from the tasks at hand and desired educational goals is something that I believe Brian can do, and do well.

As a former high school History teacher, and one who went to our Greenwich schools, I have a strong interest in seeing our schools succeed, our students prepared, and our reputation ranked second to none. I believe Brian's skill sets will help in all three areas. Please join me in voting for Brian Peldunas for the Board of Education.

Fred Camillo
State Representative (R-151)
