Camillo Supports Re-Election of Sherr to Board of Ed

To the editor

I write this letter of support for my  friend, Peter Sherr. Peter is running for re-election the Board of Education this year and I wanted to join the many people throughout the town that are supporting Peter and his steadfast commitment to delivering the best possible education for our children without over-emphasizing things that have very little to do with education and learning, including this focus on busing. As a person who firmly believes that commitment to ideals and philosophy go hand in hand with being able to reach out across the aisle, or, in this case, the table, I admire Peter's unshakable belief in the value of neighborhood schools in the face of strong criticism from some who fault him for a past vote. While I don't always agree with every one of my friends and colleagues, Peter included, I do recognize determination and commitment and Peter stands tall on those traits, in my view.

Please join me is voting for Peter Sherr for re-election to the Board of Education on November 5th.

Fred Camillo
State Representative (R-151)
