Himes Endorses Krumeich for First Selectman

To the Editor:

I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for Beth Krumeich to be First Selectman of Greenwich. I have known Beth for many years and have always relied on her intelligence, skilled management and wisdom.  Beth is one of the most dedicated and organized people I know.

A corporate attorney by profession, Beth has found time to contribute uncounted hours as a community volunteer, often in leadership positions. Beth has been President of the Greenwich League of Women Voters and Co-President of the North Street School PTA. She was presented with the prestigious Brava! Award by the YWCA for her work organizing the Wilbur Peck Residents’ Council, which also garnered a national award to the Greenwich Housing Authority. Beth has been active on behalf of her alma maters Hamilton College, formerly Kirkland College, as a former Trustee of both colleges, as past President of the Hamilton Fairfield Alumni Association and as a member of the Hamilton Alumni Council and the Miss Porter’s Alumnae Board.
