Letter: Appelbaum 'Values, Understands, Supports Greenwich Public Schools'

To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Debbie Appelbaum as a Democratic candidate for the Greenwich Board of Education.

I have known Debbie for 10 years during which time she has been a dedicated parent volunteer for the Greenwich Public Schools in many valuable roles. Both of Debbie’s children attended the public schools through high school. She served as PTA Co-President of North Street School, Central Middle School and Greenwich High School.  Debbie values, understands, and supports the Greenwich Public School system.  She brings experience from her PTA roles that will enable her to work with school administrators, parents and the entire community. Debbie has a strong knowledge base, offers valuable perspective, is an effective communicator and has a great appreciation for our schools and community. I believe Debbie will work tirelessly to make sure that all Greenwich Public School students receive the best education possible. Join me in supporting Debbie Appelbaum for the Board of Education.
