Letter: 'Bernstein Uniquely Qualified' for Board of Ed

Dear Fellow Greenwich Citizens:

I’ve lived in Greenwich for the past 18 years and have never endorsed a candidate for political office. However, for the 2013 election, I fully endorse the candidacy of Peter Bernstein for the Board of Education. As citizens of Greenwich, there is no more important task than providing all of our children with a quality education. In doing so, it is critical that we protect the interests of taxpayers and focus on the learning areas that will provide young people with the tools to compete in a high tech world.

Peter Bernstein is uniquely qualified for a spot on the Board of Education. He is a parent who has extensive professional experience in the public and private sectors. He has served as a PTA president and has expertise in digital learning. Peter is motivated to represent all Greenwich residents and will reach out to parents and students.

We in Greenwich are fortunate to have someone with Peter Bernstein’s qualifications and commitment to serve on the Board of Education. I urge everyone to join me in supporting Peter this November.
