Calling all Singers for "Summer Sings!" in Old Greenwich

Calling all Singers for ‘Summer Sings!’ in Old Greenwich

Do you miss singing in your church choir during the summer months?
Then join ‘Summer Sings!’ at First Congregational Church of Greenwich

Come as you are on Wednesday, July 30, from 7:30-9:30 pm and within these 2 hours we will have shared in an energized rehearsal and an 'instant performance' of Rutter's Requiem (chamber version with instruments) with soloist, Hanna Golodinskii, soprano.  Music will be provided. Hospitality, refreshments, and fun are all included! No sign-up necessary. Just come ready to sing! (Suggested minimum donation of $5 per person.)

The ‘performance’ will be held in the air conditioned Meetinghouse of The First Congregational Church at 108 Sound Beach Avenue, across from Binney Park in Old Greenwich. Non-singers are also welcome to enjoy the evening!

Dr. Craig Scott Symons, Director of Music/Organist at First Church, will lead the choir which will be accompanied by Alistair Reid, Director of Music at St. Joseph Church in Manhattan and former Assistant Musician at Christ Church, Greenwich.

Also, join us for the last ‘Summer Sings!’ of the season on Wednesday, August 27 when we will ‘perform’ Handel’s Zadok the Priest and Haydn’s Te Deum in C.
