For the first time in recent history, the Carriage Barn Arts Center will have a show that is devoted exclusively to two artists - the husband and wife duo Drew and Audrey Klotz. Drew’s vibrant recent kinetic sculptures will activate the interior space of the gallery in harmony with Audrey’s oversized abstract paintings. For this exhibition, the front courtyard will also be animated by three site specific sculptures - their colors and shapes providing a wonderful juxtaposition with the stone walls of the barn. The idea behind a more singular vision in the gallery is to allow an artist to be inspired by the wonderful soaring historical space of the Carriage Barn and transform it, thereby realizing the vast potential of the structure. Part of Drew Klotz’s philosophy is that art should be accessible – one has to touch it to activate it. This has great appeal to a wide audience, children in particular, who love for once not being told: “Don’t touch the art!”

On November 15th, from 3 – 7 pm, Vineyard Vines will be promoting the exhibition and the Carriage Barn by offering a 10 / 10 sale, where customers get 10 % off their purchase and 10 % of the sales go to the CBAC.
