Easter Week at Round Hill Community Church

Easter Week at Round Hill Community Church
Easter Week events at Round Hill Community Church begin with a Service of Tenebrae with the Sacrament of Holy Communion on Maundy Thursday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m.  On Saturday, April 19, from 2 - 3:30 p.m., there will be an Easter Workshop for the whole family.  There will be a variety of arts and crafts and children are invited to help us decorate the Community House and Church with their beautiful artwork to make our Easter service extra special. Parents are invited to assist and everyone is welcome to enjoy light snacks and drinks. We will learn about the symbols of Easter and sing festive music with Patrick Sweeney. This is a free event. On Easter, April 20, our worship service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Dr. Horstmann’s sermon will be Roll Back the Stone. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt during Church School. Special music performed by the Choir, Soloists and Chamber Orchestra will include Easter Carol Collection by Shaw/Parker; “Laudemus Te” by Vivaldi; “We Know That Christ Is Raised” by Engelberg; Easter Chorale by Barber; Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened and “Hallelujah Chorus” by Handel. We will have a special Coffee Hour in the Community House following the service. Round Hill Community Church is a nondenominational Christian church that welcomes all.
