Esther Banker Memorial Children's Series features Walter Wick

It will be a feast for young eyes and ears when the Friends of the Byram Shubert Library present Walter Wick, photographer, illustrator and author of the "I Spy" and "Do You See What I See" books for children in this year's Esther Banker Memorial Series for Children at 3 p.m., December 9th in the Friends Community Room of the Byram Shubert Library, 21 Mead Avenue, Greenwich.  Mr. Wick's love of mystery and science will be on display during this free afterschool program.
The series is named in honor of Esther Banker, who served as director of the Byram Shubert Library for nearly a quarter century.  A lifelong resident of our town and a lover of books...and children, she is honored with a plaque designating "Esther's Way" in front of the library.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.  For more information about this and other events at the library  call 203.531.0426.
