‘A Festive Evening on the Avenue’


to Benefit Save the Children


WHAT: Members of the Greenwich community and surrounding towns are invited to attend “A Festive Evening on the Avenue,” an event that includes a fashion show, makeovers and holiday shopping. Cocktails and hors‘dourves will also be available.   


The benefit will raise funds and awareness for Westport-based Save the Children's relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased online, at www.savethechildren.org/GLC-Saks-Event, or at the door, with 100 percent of the ticket proceeds going to Save the Children. Holiday shoppers can also pick up some gifts throughout the benefit to help kids in need, with 10 percent of all shopping sales going to Save the Children, as well.


WHO:  Save the Children’s Greenwich Leadership Council, whose members will be featured as models in the fashion show.


Co-chairs for the benefit are Liz O’Brien and Selby White


WHEN:  6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
