Peak Earth: Population, Climate and Energy in the 21st Century – A Conversation

Tuesday, November 27, 6:30 pm. Science Lecture Series Fall 2012. “Peak Earth: Population, Climate and Energy in the 21st Century – A Conversation.” Peter B. Keleman, PhD, Arthur D. Storke Memorial Professor of Geochemistry, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Columbia University, and Michael Cembalest, Chairman of Market and Investment Strategy, JP Morgan Asset Management, and member of Lamont-Doherty Advisory Board, will discuss the world’s growing population and demands for energy, which is altering the natural environment. Refreshments precede the lecture, which begins promptly at 7 pm.
