Brunch as we know it has now turned into a day-long affaire, replete with bottomless mimosas, a bloody mary bar, DJ spun tunes, and Executive Chef Francois Kwaku-Dongo’s seasonal American cuisine, featuring classic and not-so classic brunch favorites.

“Brunch seems to have gone a through a few incarnations over the years, “says bartender and Sunday Funday coordinator Brandi Zorzy, “eleven14 Kitchen has created an environment that allows people to truly unwind and feel as if their weekend is now complete.”
Since opening its doors in May of 2012, eleven14 Kitchen, located inside the J House hotel in Greenwich, CT, has made its mark on the dining and social scene in lower Fairfield County. Its indoor-outdoor dining and bar areas and eclectic design has framed the restaurant’s approach to outstanding dishes that reflect the seasons and the prowess of a passionate team of chefs led by Executive Chef Kwaku-Dongo. Food critics have found it challenging to label eleven14’s style of cuisine, often referring to it as “surprising”, while applauding its “simplicity”. Casual fare such as a spicy shrimp tacos, share the stage with more sophisticated dishes, as seen with the grilled bone-in rib-eye with bordelaise sauce. Desserts run the gamut from large chocolate chip cookies to the tart “Grand Mere” with almond cream, poached pears and black currant sorbet.
“Don’t let the stunning backdrop fool ya,” says John Sheedy, General Manager of the J House, “The food is accessible, as are the price points. This is a place for everyone– where a variety of experiences can be enjoyed.”
