Tableside Dining at l'escale

In addition to the new customized tasting menu, l’escale has introduced the classic dining style of tableside service for the winter. This theatrical type of dining has been making a comeback in restaurants throughout New York City such as Eleven Madison Park, Benoit, and Maloney & Porcelli. Tableside service brings an element of showmanship and performance to the dining room. l’escale prepares several different dishes tableside, from appetizers to dessert, including Black Truffle Chicken, Côte de Bouef and Day Boat Whole Fish with croûte de sel. Executive Pastry Chef Wendy Young Laurent is also on hand to prepare l’escale’s renowned Crêpes Suzette Flambé.
