Western Middle School Tag Sale Donation Drop Off

Western Middle School PTA will hold its first Tag Sale and Holiday Boutique on Saturday, December 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The school will offer a Tag Sale Early Bird entry at 8:00 a.m. for a fee of $10.


In addition to a tag sale, the school will be hosting a Holiday Boutique featuring fabulous vendors. Questions or Inquiries on Holiday Boutique, please contact Hillary Clifford at hbclifford@optonline.net.


The Western Middle School PTA has also received a generous donation of designer clothing and shoes from a NYC high-end fashion icon to be sold at a deep discount at the sale.


In addition, the PTA is asking for additional donations. Parents and community members who would like to support the tag sale may drop off items at Western Middle School, 1 Western Junior Highway, Greenwich, CT at the “pod” by the school cafeteria on:



  • November 28th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • December 1st from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  • December 5th from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

  • December 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.


Please note used stuffed animals, heavy, bulky items (like furniture and old huge TV sets), outdated electronic or other equipment, anything ripped/stained/torn, and encyclopedia sets will not be accepted.


All proceeds from the tag sale and holiday boutique will be used to fund programs at Western which include author visits, school assembles, 6th grade ice cream social, 8th grade dance, 8th grade promotion ceremony, grade level picnics, Hallowestern dance and other PTA and community events.

Also, I'm curious whether animal control questioned your nephew -- there is a link between people who abuse animals and those who later abuse other people (and cats seem to be the 'gateway' to larger mammals). If anyone reading this has any suggestions on how to locate or lure back this kitty, please respond.

You did not mention hisRead More age, bu poor treatment of animals in youth is often a precursor to similar treatment/crimes against people in later years. I hope you have taken steps to correct this behavior, or have taken it up with his parents, if they are available.
