Youth Golf Registration begins March 4, 2013

YOUTH GOLF CLINICS

 The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that youth Golf clinics will begin at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center on Fridays starting April 5 for 5 weeks.  The course fee for the 5 week session is $100. 


 Join Coach John Czarnecki for an introduction to the fundamentals of golf.  Become acquainted with the basics, including proper grip, stance, swing, alignment, balance, course etiquette, and rules of the game.  Coach John Czarnecki holds a certified coaching permit with the State of Connecticut.  He has been a golf coach at Greenwich High School since 2005.

 The course is for children 6 to 10 years old.  There will be three sessions.  Session 1 will be from 3:45 to 4:30 pm, session 2 will be from 4:30 to 5:15 pm, and session 3 will be from 5:15 to 6 pm.


 The course will be held in the Bendheim Western Civic Center Gym, and field.  Registration is ongoing until all classes are full.
