Handel's Messiah at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Riverside

There is no work that has captivated the hearts of audiences and performers alike as Handel's glorious masterpiece, Messiah. From stirring choruses as "For unto us a child is born," from the intimate solos of personal testament in "I know that my redeemer liveth, " to the awesome majesty of the Hallelujah Chorus and final sonorous "The Trumpet shall sound." As St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside celebrates its centennial year, the church is presenting Handel's Messiah, featuring its Festival Choir, members of the Greenwich Symphony, soloists sopranos Elisabeth Franklin and Hallie Silverston, mezzo soprano Abby Powell, tenors Joseph Demarest and Jonathan Brinson, and baritone Hernan Berisso. The performance will be conducted by Music & Arts Director Mark Kaczmarczyk.

Join us at a majestic performance of Handel's oratorio Messiah on Friday, December 6th at 7:30 pm, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Avenue, Riverside. Tickets are $25 general admission and $10 students. Order tickets online 24/7 at www.stcath.org or charge by calling 203-637-3661.
