Join Elissa Bemporad, author of "Becoming Soviet Jews" for a discussion about how the Jews acculturated to Soviet society in the 1920's and 30's while remaining committed to older patterns of Jewish identity.  A kosher lunch will be served, and books will be available for purchase and signing.
