Join birding expert  and illustrator David Allen Sibley for a woodcock walk followed by a presentation.  He will stop at the Audubon Center in Greenwich on his tour to release “The Sibley Guide to Birds: Second Edition." The event, co-sponsored by Elm Street Books of New Canaan and Audubon Greenwich, will start at 5:30 p.m. with an artist reception and book signing, which is free.  Then at 6:45 p.m.,  Audubon senior naturalist Ted Gilman and Sibley will lead a short walk to search for these woodland sandpiper relatives known for their unique aerial performances and crepuscular calls. Following the walk, there will be a presentation by Sibley in the Audubon’s Oppenheimer Gallery. Admission for the walk and talk is $20 per person.
