Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program - FREE Introduction on 1/8/15

STRESS LESS : A FREE Intro to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program at United Church of Rowayton on 1/8/15

Do you want to live a more engaged and balanced life? There is a way of being and doing that allows you to live life more fully through the practice of mindfulness. Mindfulness is a human quality, a way of learning to pay wise attention to what is happening in the present moment, with non-judgmental awareness. There is a FREE Introduction to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program on 1/8/15 from 6:30-8pm presented by Sheila Wall at the United Church of Rowayton followed by an 8-week program from 1/15-3/5/15 for early bird special of $325 if paid in full by 1/8/15 or $375 thereafter (includes course material). MBSR is an evidence-based, structured complementary medicine and wellness program that uses mindfulness as a way of learning to tap into your inner resources, empowering you to respond rather than react to stress, pain and illness.

Teacher:

Sheila Wall has her Masters of Social Work from NYU and completed the professional MBSR Practicum and the MBSR in Mind-Body Medicine through the Center for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical School. Sheila is a Mindfulness Coach/Trainer and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF). She has practiced yoga and meditation since 1975.
