ONS Foundation PLAY Strong PLAY Safe 5K

The ONS Foundation for Clinical Research and Education,
Inc., a Greenwich Hospital Alliance, will hold the first ONS Foundation PLAY
Strong PLAY Safe 5K, a Walk/Run and Health & Fitness Expo in beautiful Old
Greenwich. Based at the OGRCC (Old Greenwich Riverside Civic Center, 06870),
the race is a certified USA Track & Field 5k course that offers a terrific,
scenic route geared for families as well as elite runners.

A unique post race Health and Fitness Expo featuring ONS,
Elite Health Services and Green + Tonic, will offer information on sports
training, injury prevention and treatments and merchandise demos. Green + Tonic
will provide shakes and juices.  

There
will also be an expo and packet pickup on Saturday, September 21, 2013 for those who cannot stay after the 5k on Sunday.

Proceeds from the ONS Foundation PLAY Strong PLAY Safe 5K
will benefit the ONS Foundation for Clinical Research and Education research
and educational initiatives. A portion of the proceeds will also support youth
sports programs at the OGRCC.



Corporate challenge teams include ONS (Orthopaedic and
Neurosurgery Specialists), Greenwich Hospital and EHS (Elite Health Services).
