Greenwich Tree Conservancy To Hold 4th Annual Benefit

The annual benefit will support the conservancy efforts to plant and maintain trees around Greenwich.

On Arbor Day, April 25, the Greenwich Tree Conservancy will hold their fourth annual Tree Party Celebration at McArdle's Garden Center on Arch Street.

The theme of the party “Our Town, Our Trees,” will highlight the work that the Tree Conservancy has done for Greenwich residents over the last seven years — planting 1.000 trees in town, conducting tree walks and lectures to educate the public on the many benefits of trees, and testifying in defense of preserving Greenwich’s trees. The Conservancy not only plants trees, but also helps to preserve and maintain them.

Tree-Tinis, a specialty of the party, will be served along with other drinks and hors d’oeuvres, with entertainment from guitarist Ed Wright. The Tree Party — which will be held from from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., April 25 — is open to the public with individual tickets starting at $125.
