Live from Greenwich — It's 'Friday Night Live'!

Live from Greenwich … it was Friday night live at Cam Gan Israel.

Did you miss 'Friday Night Live" in Greenwich?

On Friday, July 18, Camp Gan Israel of Greenwich hosted “Friday Night Live!” where 150 parents and children came together for a Shabbat dinner.

Children under six were entertained with award-winning PJ Library stories read by Penny Goffman-Vazquez while the older children played chess in an outdoor courtyard with a chess master.

The evening also included live children’s music from Bobby Doowah and a sing-along with Olaf fromFrozen. Parents enjoyed spirited camp songs performed by their children on stage. Each child sang a song learned from their days at Camp Gan Israel.

Camp Gan Israel is a Jewish Day Camp on the grounds of Carmel Academy located at 270 Lake Ave., Greenwich.

PJ Library of Greenwich, Jewish books and programs, for children seven and under, is funded by the UJA Greenwich in Partnership with Harold Grinspoon Foundation.
