Greenwich Scouting's 27TH Annual Golf Tournament

The 27th Annual Golf Tournament of the Greenwich Council, Boy Scouts of America will be held on Monday, September 16, 2013 at the Round Hill Club in Greenwich, CT.  The event will begin at 11:00AM and includes brunch, golf and dinner.  Non-golfers are also welcome to attend for cocktails on the veranda, a terrific dinner and a great selection of silent and live auction items.  There are over 20 golf courses, in the U.S. and abroad, being auctioned off to play on!  All proceeds of the tournament will benefit the youth and operations of Greenwich Scouting.

The Greenwich Council, Boy Scouts of America Golf Tournament sponsor is Combe Incorporated.  Co-chairs are long-time Greenwich Scouting Board members, Jim Dean and Perry Burns.

The Greenwich Council, Boy Scouts of America is comprised of over 350 dedicated volunteers who serve nearly 2,500 local boys and girls each year. They participate in scouting programs, attend Camp Seton Summer Camp and contribute to local community service projects.  They participate in fun programs that build character, foster volunteerism and explore the outdoors, all helping to prepare them for life.  In 2013 there was a record breaking amount of twenty-three Eagle Scouts in Greenwich!
