For every believer there is a sceptic - Can I trust the sign in the produce aisle?
For years I have always wondered what that sticky little bar code meant on the side of my produce - well know I know and I want to share it with EVERYONE. It is more than a way for the cashier to quickly scan my purchase. It is a secret way the produce industry lets us know HOW OUR PRODUCE IS GROWN - with chemicals, AS NATURAL INTENDED or with genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
So, the next time you have a couple extra minutes in the supermarket, look over the labels. It tells alot about your PRODUCE.
