Lucy, Linus, Lollipop & Luigi were born on July 9th in my bedroom :) I was fostering their mother, Lily, who was abandoned pregnant in Mount Vernon, NY.
The puppies are almost ready to go to their forever homes -- so now we need to find great families who are looking to add a little bundle of fur to their lives. Selfishly, I am hoping they'll be able to stay in Greenwich!
Lily (the mother) and Lollipop have already found wonderful homes, but the others, two males and one female, are available for adoption through Cat Assistance, a local rescue. You can fill out an adoption application here. Questions can be emailed to me at diezeldog@me.com.
Lily is an adorable Havanese-Poodle mix -- the dad is a mystery ;) Lucy and Luigi appear to resemble Cairn Terrier mixes, but Linus is smaller and looks more like a Norwich Terrier. Since we don't know what their lineage is, I do not feel comfortable saying they will be non-shedding dogs -- so if you have allergies and need something like that, these may not be the best choice.
The puppies will be at Pet Pantry this Saturday, August 24th from 12:30 to 2:30 if you'd like to stop by to meet them.
They will also be at a large adoption event on Sunday, August 25th from 2:30 - 4:30 at the Westchester Mall (retail level one, center court). There will be lots of local rescues at the event, including Adopt-a-Dog -- so please stop by to meet the puppies and support local rescue :)
