Woodcock and Peepers  at Bruce Museum. Enjoy indoor/outdoor explorations at Audubon Greenwich to learn all about the sights and sounds of animals that are active at the edge of night -- woodcock and peepers.

SPRING FLING FUN at Greenburgh Nature Center. Spring is here! Explore our trails with a naturalist to see who's awake after a long winter's nap. Meet some live animals and learn how they welcome spring. Take home a craft to get spring started at your house.

The Ballerina Princess Party at The Bijou Theatre. New England Ballet Company presents two Ballerina Princess Parties! Attend the “Ballerina Princess Party” dressed in your favorite Princess or Dance attire! Learn a “Court” dance with a Princess make a “Princess” craft! Have your party here!

Bluebird House Cleanup at Westmorland Sanctuary. Join our Director of Conservation, Steve Ricker as he prepares our bluebird nesting boxes for the nesting season. Houses will need to be cleaned out, repaired and marked for identification.

Bricks 4 Kidz on Saturday - Grade K-5th, Sportsplex@Fairfield : Kids construct a new model each week based on exciting themes from space to sports, amusement parks to animals.

Family Animal Encounters at Earthplace - The Nature Discovery Center: Stop by Earthplace in Westport for a program with one of our naturalists. You may meet an animal. take a guided hike or visit the pond. Saturdays, 2:30 pm rain or shine. Your kids will have a ton of fun!

Art Start for Preschoolers at the New Britain Museum of American Art: Art Start For Preschoolers at the New Britain Museum of American Art helps caregivers and kids discover art together in the Museum galleries. Listen to a story and then explore line, shape, color, and other elements of art with Museum educators.

Maple Sugaring at Warrup's Farm: We collect maple sap and boil it down into sweet syrup at our log cabin sugar house, and then make maple candies. Visitors are welcome to watch the process, take a taste of the sap and the almost-ready syrup and enjoy harbingers of spring on a farm.

Free Syrup Making Tours at Woodbury Sugar Shed Open for free maple syrup making tours during the month of March. We recommend calling ahead to make sure we are in operation for that particular day.

Sketching Artifacts at Stepping Stones: Your curious kids will create their own portfolio of artistic masterpieces characteristic of souvenirs found Around the World! Drop-in anytime. Free with museum admission.

Bridgeport Sound Tigers Take on the St. John's Icecaps: Bring your family to the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport to catch a fast-paced, high energy Sound Tigers game! Nothing beats hockey for having fun with your kids!

Greenwich St. Patrick's Day Parade: Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Greenwich at the annual parade! The St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 2 pm from Town Hall to Post Road (Rt. 1) to Greenwich Avenue. Bring your kids and have a blast!

Robin Hood at Downtown Cabaret Theatre. Friendship, fun and foolery run rampant in this new Cabaret version!

Mystic Irish Parade: The Mystic Irish Parade is an annual event that has become a community wide cultural tradition. Surplus funds from the Mystic Irish Parade are donated to local charities that support the Southeastern Connecticut community. Fun for the whole family!

Yurtle the Turtle at Westmorland Sanctuary. Join our Animal Curator as we visit with our Painted Turtle, Yurtle. We will learn about the history of painted turtles and our other water turtle friends. The program will end with a reading of “Yertle the Turtle” by Dr. Suess.

Oysters, Pearls of Long Island Sound at Bruce Museum. Found in estuaries around the world, oysters are a favored delicacy for humans and play a valuable role in ecosystems and economies.

SCOOBY-DOO! WRESTLEMANIA MYSTERY-Free Advanced Screening at Avon Theatre Film Center. When Shaggy and Scooby win tickets to WrestleMania XXX, the entire gang travels in the Mystery Machine to New Orleans where WWE is holding the epic event.

Kids and Teens Program at the Redding Center For Meditation: Kids over the age of 4 are invited to take part in the Redding Center for Meditation's program for kids and teens during the 10:00 to 11:30 meditation session. Kids will learn about mindfulness, compassion, meditation, yoga and more!
