CHRISTIE’S INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE CAPTURES THE

ART OF REAL ESTATE’ AT CHRISTIE’S ASIAN ART WEEK IN NEW YORK

David Ogilvy & Associates, the exclusive affiliate of the world’s leading luxury real estate network, attends the Asian Art Week sales, providing valuable synergy between fine art and real estate.

NEW YORK (March 22, 2013) – Christie’s International Real Estate, the world’s leading luxury real estate network and a subsidiary of Christie’s auction house, was a proud participant in Christie’s Asian Art Week of Spring 2013, providing a strong real estate presence during the auctions of fine Chinese ceramics and works of art. Held from March 19-22 in the New York showroom, Christie’s, the global leader in Asian art, hosted a series of eight sales, showcasing rare works of art and distinguished private collections from China, Japan, Korea, India, and beyond.

During the auction event, affiliates of Christie’s International Real Estate hosted an exclusive lounge area for auction patrons to visit, enjoy refreshments and interact with guests from around the world, allowing a unique opportunity to cultivate new relationships with Asian art connoisseurs. David Ogilvy & Associates was on site during show hours to answer questions and to promote Greenwich, Connecticut to the highly qualified art patrons who visited the lounge. The lounge, open March 21-22, featured a multi media presentation of luxury real estate listings available for sale by affiliated brokerages in attendance. Brochures, magazines, and detailed information on luxury property offerings, as well as corporate information written in both Chinese and English, were available for guests.

“As the only global real estate network owned by a fine art auction house, Christie’s International Real Estate is pleased to partake in Christie’s Asian Art Week,” says Bonnie Stone Sellers, Chief Executive Officer of Christie’s International Real Estate. “The marketing of fine art and high‑end real estate has been proven to be a natural combination. Our ability to provide advice on art and real estate through trusted relationships creates exceptional results and offers collectors an even broader range of services at the top end of the market.

“Our partnership with Christie’s International Real Estate allowed us to promote our significant residences to these discerning art collectors, an important audience of highly qualified potential homebuyers,” says David Ogilvy & Associates.
