Kites on Parade at Greenwich Point

Tod's Point, aka Greenwich Point, teemed with Greenwich families...and their kites on a mild Saturday in mid-April.

The temperature was just shy of 70° and it seemed every family in Greenwich had the same idea: Let's go fly a kite at Greenwich Point.

It was breezy, but not too windy as at least 100 kites floated effortless in against the blue sky.

Kids played in the sand, kayakers paddled close to the shore, and picnickers initiated the grilling season. Not bad for a mid-April Saturday in Greenwich.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
