Angela Turturino, 70; Retired Bank Employee

Angela Turturino, of Greenwich, passed away on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014 with her family by her side. She was 70.

She was born to the late Rocco and Lillian Constantino on Feb. 3, 1943. 

Mrs. Turturino graduated from Greenwich High School and attended Winn’s Beauty School in White Plains, NY. In 1962, she married Fred Turturino, her high school sweetheart whom she began dating at age 14. She worked for the former  Union Trust Bank and retired after 21 years of service. 

Her biggest joy in life was devoting her time, love and energy into her family. Angela was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. 

In addition to her husband to whom she was married for 51 years, Mrs. Turturino is survived by daughters Sandi (Anthony) Monick and Sue (Brian) Honyotski, of Greenwich; sister Louise Pelletier of Wallingford; and her grandchildren, Marisa and Sara Monick. 

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 21. A memorial service will be follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr. Wallingford, CT 06492 or to the American Diabetes Association, 306 Industrial Park Rd. Middletown, CT 06457.
