Carolyn 'Chippy' Pasquarelli; Riverside Native, Retired Putnam Trust Bank Vice President

Services are planned for Monday, June 9.

From Castiglione Funeral Home.

Carolyn "Chippy" Chiappetta Pasquarelli passed away peacefully in Danbury, on June 6, 2014.

She was born in Riverside in 1922 to Rose and Umile Chiappetta.

Her kindness and generosity were well appreciated. Her family came first. Carolyn was the first woman VP at Putnam Trust Bank and she managed the Travel Department for 24 years. Ahead of her time in many ways, as she traveled the world to exotic places one could only imagine, she touched many hearts and made many friends. She could light up a room and that light though extinguished here on earth still burns brightly above as she joins her loved ones who have gone before her.

She is survived by her sister Josephine Oca and sister-in-law Rose Chiappetta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and more friends than we will ever know.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Dominic Pasquarelli, her sister Viola, brothers James, William and Orlando (Max).

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 9 at 10 A.M. at St. Catherine Of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Ave., Riverside.

Funeral arrangements handled through Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, CT. 06830.
