On its Facebook page, the Greenwich YMCA posted "It’s with great sadness that we inform you that our beloved Dale Lucian, YMCA Chief of Staff and Membership Operation Director, has passed away. For the last 5 ½ years, we've had the privilege and honor of calling Dale mentor, colleague and friend. Her infectious laugh, hard work and positive outlook transformed our YMCA staff and membership. Dale was that unique spirit who made you want to do better and be better. We are forever grateful to you, our Zumba Queen. Thank you for changing our lives for good. We welcome everyone to post thoughts of remembrance on our page or at our front desk."
And in a tribute to Dale, the YM had its flags at half-staff Wednesday.
She greeted everyone with a smile and kind word. She will be greatly missed for trying to make the world a better place.
The family would like to thank Dale’s good friend, Marcie Husband for all her loving care and support during Dale’s illness.
