Dennis O. Curcuruto, 81; Korean War Veteran Who Was A Carpet Installer


Dennis O. Curcuruto, of Riverside, died Jan. 23, 2014 at Stamford Hospital after a battle with cancer. He was 81.

He was born July 5, 1932 son of the late Antonio and Nancy Curcuruto.

Dennis was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in Korea for 2 1/2 years. After the military he worked as a carpet and linoleum installer, employed by Harry L. Thomas. 

Dennis is survived by his loving wife Marie of 61 years and his children, Debbie (Craig) Robinson, Dennis Jr., Susan, Gregory, two grandchildren, Ashley and Kelly and his brother Sylvio (Josephine). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brother Jay.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, Jan. 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Ave., Riverside. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greenwich.
