Joan B. Dobson, a longtime resident of Byram, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013. She was 83.
She retired after working 36 years at Greenwich Hospital as a nurse's aide.
She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Kevin) Shearn and her son Michael. Joan was predeceased by her husband Fred Dobson.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. Burial will follow the service in St. Mary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
