Obituary: Irene D. Carlucci, 86; Greenwich Homemaker
Calling hours are scheduled for Monday, Aug. 12, with the funeral set for Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Irene D. Carlucci, 86, a resident of Greenwich, and formerly of Port Chester, died Aug. 8, 2013.
She was born Jan. 21, 1927 in Port Chester to the late Dominic and Maria Cerone Melillo.
She was raised and educated in Port Chester. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of the Corpus Christi Church in Port Chester.
She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Carlucci whom she married Feb. 1, 1948.
Mrs. Carlucci is survived by her devoted children Joseph Carlucci of Greenwich, and Mary Basso and her husband Vincent of Stamford; grandchildren Jason Basso and wife Alexandra and Kaitlyn Basso; great-granddaughter Vivienne Basso. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Nicholas and Charles Melillo and sisters Mary Krinsky, Grace Bracciale, Anna Mollica, Angelina Caruso, Rose Santarsiero and Helen Calebrese.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, at Craft Memorial Home, Inc.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 13, at Corpus Christi Church, 136 S. Regent St., Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.
