Philomena 'Fanny' Caruso, 92; Lifelong Greenwich Resident Who Enjoyed Baking

Calling hours and the funeral will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6.


Philomena 'Fanny' Caruso, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, passed away on Nov. 2, 2013. She was 92.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Geraldine Pastore.

Mrs. Caruso was a great baker. She could always be found spending her time baking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons Peter A. Caruso, Jr. and his wife Margaret of Greenwich, and Richard Caruso of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  

Family and friends are invited to visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Roch's Church on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Greenwich.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lisa Kurian and her staff for the wonderful care of Philomena.
