Victor F. Tiriolo Sr., 71, Retired Postal Worker

Calling hours Tuesday, Dec. 18; Funeral services are Wednesday, Dec. 19.

 

Victor F. Tiriolo Sr., 71, of Cos Cob, passed away on Dec. 16, 2012.

He was born in Greenwich on April 10, 1941 to the late Frank A. Tiriolo, Sr. and the late Rose Barone Tiriolo.

Victor was a graduate of Greenwich High School and Wright Tech in Stamford. He retired from the Postal Service after 29 years. He was a security guard with Kennedy Security; delivered for McArdle's Flower Shop; worked at Innis Arden Golf Club, did deliveries and charity work for Chicken Joe's; he was the first delivery man for Express Pizza in Greenwich, and most recently he was a crossing guard. Victor was an avid golfer and was an avid fan of the NY Yankees, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers. He will be most be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle.

He is survived by his loving wife MaryAnn Bria-Tiriolo, his sons Victor F. Tiriolo, Jr. (Renee) and David Tiriolo, a daughter Patricia Bausch and a daughter Debbie Tiriolo, his brother Frank Tiriolo (Marianne), his sister Kathy Massi (Joe), brother-in-law Angelo Bria (Lisa), his grandchildren Jeremiah Tiriolo and Kyle Bausch, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, Inc., 134 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 4 to 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.
