Vincenza Incorvaia, 88; Old Greenwich Resident

Calling hours are Wednesday evening with funeral scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday.

 

Vincenza Incorvaia, 88, of Old Greenwich passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 10, 2013.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Rosario and Josephine (Reccichi) Carlopio on Oct. 14, 1924.

Vincenza was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Vincenza is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years Carmen “Brad” Incorvaia; her son Joseph Incorvaia and wife Kathleen O’Neil of Riverside; her daughter Amy Kohut and husband Michael of Edison, NJ; her brother Attilio Carlopio and wife Marie of West Palm Beach, FL; her grandchildren Moira Martish (Ben), Brendan Incorvaia, Caitlin Shea, Megan Incorvaia, Douglas Shea and Michael Kohut Jr.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings, Maria Mondini, Ann Zurlo, Frank Carlopio, and Vincent Carlopio.

Family and friends may visit at the Castiglione Funeral Home, Inc., 134 Hamilton Ave. in Greenwich from 2 to 4 and 7 to  9 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 14, at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Mary Cemetery in Greenwich.
