Vito P. Matturro, 64; Lifelong Cos Cob Resident

Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15 with the funeral on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Vito P. Matturro, a lifelong Cos Cob resident, died on Oct. 10, 2013 with family and friends by his side, sharing memories and music. He was 64.

Vito was born to Raffaela (Buccieri) Matturro and Angelo Matturro, on May 13, 1949.

He was a graduate of Wright Technical School in the automotive field, where he spent the next 40-plus years in the automotive industry, starting at H & L Chevrolet and, ending his career at Mercedes-Benz of Greenwich.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pamela (Masna) Matturro; his daughter, Melissa (Matturro) Bertolf, and his son, Donald Vito Matturro, (Merritt Williams). Vito is survived by his father-in-law, Stanley Masna, his son-in-law, Gustave Bertolf Jr.

He was predeceased by his mother-in-law Olive (Lund) Masna.

Friends and relatives may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15, at Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave. Greenwich. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, at St. Catherine of of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Ave. Riverside.
