- – The 7th Annual Festival of French and Francophone film:
Focus on French Cinema 2011 at Purchase College - When: Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20
- Why Go: the premier French film festival of the tri-state area; Featured guests for the weekend include actress Lolita Chammah on opening night for the New York premiere of "Copacabana," in which she stars opposite her mother, French actress Isabelle Huppert; as well as directors Marc Esposito("Mon Pote") and Mia Hansen Love("Le Pere de mes enfants"). Friday's opening-night gala will be hosted by Les Maîtres Cuisiniers de France and the Academie Culinaire de France. The weekend festival will feature 12 French-language films with English subtitles.
