Pirri International Hair Group (181 Greenwich Ave., 2nd Floor, Greenwich; 203-869-4500): This salon, the brainchild of Italian-born Pirri brothers Piero and Luigi, offers a full range of hair services, from color, cut and specialty treatments to bridal styling, at its Greenwich and Eastchester outposts. Perks include a friendly, creative staff, and a cozy, intimate, second-floor location near the intersection of Greenwich Avenue and Elm Street.

Warren-Tricomi Salon (1 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich; 203-863-9300): The namesake of hairstyling icons Joel Warren and Edward Tricomi, this salon offers modern amenities and edgy color and cuts. The Greenwich location’s menu of services includes hair treatments (and bridal styling) as well as spa treatments (including manicures and waxing). Salon services are also available at your home or office upon request.

Allura Salon and Spa (23 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich; 203-869-1234): A multi-purpose hair salon, nail salon, tanning salon and skincare salon, Allura is a popular spot for locals who desire a wide variety of services. Offerings in the hair department include the usual cut, coloring and bridal-updo options, as well as wig-fitting and replacement and lash perming.

Hopscotch Salon (10 Railroad Ave., Greenwich; 203-661-0107): Open since 1994, Hopscotch offers the full gamut of hair and skincare services at reasonable prices in a cool-looking, modern setting. Colorists are known for staying on top of trends, like the French ‘Baliyage’ technique that’s popular among Hollywood starlets.

Frédéric Fekkai Salon, 2 Lewis Ct., Greenwich; 203-861-6700: This salon chain’s Greenwich location runs under the eye of Paris-educated creative director Alexandre Chouery, who has feathered the tresses of an impressive list of celebrities (Salma Hayak and Hugh Jackman among them). Customers enjoy services, which include hair styling, color, manicure, pedicure, brow grooming and makeup application, in a beautiful backdrop of exposed brick walls and sunshine.
