St. Roch's Car Show - Horseneck Parking Lot (across from the Greenwich Boys and Girls Club)

When: Sunday, Aug. 21; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Why Go: More than 100 trophies will be awarded to classic cars of all makes, models and years. Food, music and more. Proceeds to benefit , and the Greenwich Alliance for Education.

When: Saturday, Aug. 21 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Why Go: Swingaholics will feature the country tunes of electric and steel  guitars and electric mandolin. Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the music on the seaside stage. The rain venue is the Greenwich Civic Center.

Stamford Restaurant Week 2011 - Stamford, CT

When: Aug. 22 through Sept. 5, 2011

Why Go: 28 of Downtown Stamford’s restaurants are offering special prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner.

Pricing: The prices for lunch range from $10.11 to $20.11 and dinner ranges from $15.11 and $30.11 allowing you to return to your favorite restaurants and try some new ones.
