The 3rd Annual Silver Shield Association Greenwich Block Party, bottom of Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT

When: Sunday, July 17: 3 to 8 p.m.

Why Go: a benefit for the Sheila Keegan Uhl Foundation, established in support of Sheila, daughter of retired Greenwich Police Chief Tom Keegan. The mother of two is recuperating from a massive stroke she suffered last Christmas. Entertainment by the Greenwich bands Short Bus and Billy & The Showmen; food, beverages also will be available.

SoundWaters and Green Drinks Sunset Sail -

When: Friday July 15; 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: Join SoundWaters and Green Drinks Greenwich for a sunset sail aboard the Schooner SoundWaters leaving from Grass Island in Greenwich. Bring your dinner and your favorite beverage and relax while watching the sun dip below the horizon. Sunset sails are intended for adults, as alcohol is often brought on board.

Celebrate the 20th annual New York City Restaurant Week!

When: Now through July 24 (yes, it is actually TWO weeks!)

Greenwich Hospital Benefit Under The Stars - Belle Haven Country Club - 100 Harbor Dr., Greenwich, CT

When: Friday, July 15, 7 p.m.

Why Go: “Under the Stars”, a casual evening of dining and dancing with live, silent and wine auctions to benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Services at Greenwich Hospital. This annual fundraiser is sponsored by Families for Greenwich Hospital, a volunteer group of parents working together to strengthen and enhance pediatric and adolescent health services in Fairfield and Westchester counties.

Seems to me you are missing the most obvious which is shown in the photo used at the top ofRead More Greenwich Patch pages - Grass Island Marina/Park is directly across the waterway. You won't be able to see much of the stage front but you can certainly enjoy the tunes.
