Letter: Himes is a 'Champion for His Towns'
With your support, Jim Himes can continue to make his mark on the 4th Congressional District and serve each of us well as our Congressman.
To the Editor:
It is an honor for me to unequivocally and heartily offer my enthusiastic support for Jim Himes to continue serving Greenwich and the 4th District as our Congressman. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Jim over the past four years, both as a Congressman and as a Cos Cob resident, and I believe there is no finer choice to represent our best interests. For the past two terms, Jim has been a champion for his towns, serving diverse demographics with ease and dedication. His record in the House speaks for itself. He voted to double spending for Early Head Start Programs; supports Medicare and affordable health care for all; co-sponsored The National Infrastructure Development Bank Act of 2011, which would fund national infrastructure projects; and is a champion of both women's and civil rights.
