We need imaginative leadership in Hartford. John Blankley is an extraordinarily qualified candidate for the Connecticut State House of Representatives District 149. After taking a degree in History from Oxford and qualifying as a chartered accountant with Price Waterhouse he pursued a career in oil and gas with BP, serving as Chief Financial Officer of BP North America. He then joined the shipping industry serving as Executive Vice-President and CFO of Stolt-Nielsen which he took public in the late ’80s. John has served on public company boards and is currently a part owner of a computer consulting company, Flagship Networks, Inc. John has served our community on the RTM for four years, sitting on the finance and claims committees.
We need to “send a businessman to Hartford”. But not just any businessman – John Blankley knows big business and large organizations and is a successful small businessman too, he knows all about balancing budgets and creating jobs because he’s done it!
It is time for a change. This is our opportunity for exceptional leadership and strategic vision.
