Letter: Walko Has 'Ability, Knowledge and Energy' For State Rep Post

I am writing this letter to communicate the strong credentials of Stephen Walko, State Representative candidate for the 150th District.

As we know, Connecticut has some challenges, particularly around economic strength and it is imperative we have the right representation so that we may pursue a stronger Connecticut starting right here in Greenwich.

What can we do locally to help our State? Vote for Stephen Walko! Walko has deep experience in fiscal responsibility through his membership of the Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation (BET). His Chairmanship of that body marked the culmination of his many years of effort, service, and dedication to our community.

Walko has the ability to drill-down into the numbers to ascertain a solid understanding of the facts, form a well thought out opinion and articulate it to constituents. During Walko’s time with the BET, he was the framework designer of policies that kept Greenwich’s taxes modest and predictable and also under his leadership, the BET instituted a debt ceiling. Additionally, in a pragmatic manner, Walko approved and executed on necessary capital improvement projects that benefitted our community.

Walko’s successful work ethic is repeatable – he has the ability, knowledge and energy to take his experience to the State level while still being an agent of change within our local community.  Please join me in voting for Stephen Walko for State Representative for the 150th District.
