2 Domestic Violence Cases Yield 3 Arrests
Both incidents involved arguments between spouses.
Two weekend domestic disputes between spouses ended with the arrests of 3 suspects, according to Greenwich Police reports.
The first incident involved a Brookside Drive couple whose argument was broken up by their teenage son. According to a report, the 48-year-old suspect is accused of striking his wife on the face, placing her in a headlock and hitting the back of her head before their son intervened in the March 30 incident reported at 10:10 p.m. The report did not indicate whether the victim received medical treatment for any injuries.
The husband, who is not being identified to protect the victim's identity, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor. He posted a $5,000 bond on March 31 and was scheduled to appear April 2 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

The second incident on Gerry Street ended late April 1 when police arrested the couple. Police were summoned to the residence after someone reported hearing a woman screaming for help. The 43-year-old woman is accused of scratching her 46-year-old husband's chest and ripping his shirt, according to a police report.
A daughter of the couple a minor cut her foot on broken glass caused by numerous items that were thrown about and broken in the home shortly after 11:30 p.m., police said.

The couple was charged with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. The wife also was charged with third-degree assault. Each was released after posting $1,000 bond and scheduled to appear April 2 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
Neither police report indicated what caused the arguments.
