2 Greenwich Women Face DWI Charges

One driver charged following crash; another charged after a report of a motorist driving drunk.

Two Greenwich women were arrested on driving while intoxicated charges on Wednesday by .

Michelle M. Dias, 33, who gave an address of 105 Hamilton Ave., surrendered May 2 to police who obtained an arrest warrant charing her with DWI in connection with a March 31 car crash on Harold Avenue. Dias was released after osting $250 bond and scheduled to appeawr May 9 in state Superior Court in Stamford.

Kristina M. Giordano, 43, who gave an address of 36 Old Camp Ln., Cos Cob, was arrested at 4:45 p.m. May 2 by police investigating a report of an intoxicated driver on Old Camp Lane. A passerby had stopped Giordano, according to a Greenwich Police report.

Police said Giordano failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol level above the legal limit. She was charged with failure to maintain lane and driving while intoxicated and was released after posting $250 bond. Giordano is scheduled to appear May 16 in state Superior Court in Stamford.
